What
An easy to use hosted micro-hybrid blog application. It features easy input methods such as email, twitter, feeds, etc.
Jot.ly is everything you need and nothing more. We took a look at mainstream blogging, and then we took a look at micro-blogging. What we realized is that there isn't a middle ground for bloggers. You want more than 144 characters, but you don't want to full platform.
Using Jot.ly, you can jot anything from everywhere. It's dead simple blogging. We cut the fat out of blogging, repackaged it and made it so simple to start, there's no reason for you to not have a blog.
Enter the era of micro-hybrid blogging, with everything you need and nothing more.

Yeah I agree with Pneumonic on OpenID. It makes very easy registration and login processes. And also it’s very easy to create your blog. However i got a some problems with the design(Firefox 2 with Linux). For example “show, edit, display” links in the post management section are not clickable. Beside those minor bugs, it looks like a nice app.
uh-oh – signup didn’t work with OpenID or standard, so I wasn’t able to test anything out. Let me know if you get it fixed.
Is fairly complete, easy to use, great graphic design. A responsive and intuitive app that serves a useful purpose. Big points all around. But, when I tried to view my published blog I got the same response as roland (“Using Liquid? TRUE”) so a bit of ding there. (I’m on Safari on Leopard.)
Bit too much like tumblr for my liking – also when I went to my blog I got “Using Liquid? TRUE”… seems fairly complete otherwise though
OK. So your site is the first one to actually let me use myopenid.com to login. For that alone, I give you major kudos! I definitely like the idea as well, but it seems a bit like tumblr. The thing you have up on tumblr is your ease of use. The open id implementation made me signing up simply simple. It was great. And creating a blog was easy peasy, although I would have liked to have seen a preview of the theme I picked before I picked it. Overall, definitely a nice job!
