too simple, impractical. sorry, I just don’t know anyone (even those who write comics) who would use it because it’s too simple. comics have personalities and it’s important for the site to be customizable and have more style.

I like what you have so far, but wow – I think you’re missing some of the most important functionality! Most comics are a series, and there doesn’t seem to be any concept of that. It’d be neat to show new comics, for instance, on a daily basis. And registration appears to be only for artists – as a comic reader, I’d love to be able to “subscribe” to my favorite comics, and get new ones either in e-mail or on my dashboard. I think you’ve got a good start with a site for artists, but if you want artists to actually join, you need to bring in comic fans.

Front page has a huge-arse image at the moment.
‘Add my profile’ seems like an extra step after registration. ‘Why?’ comes to mind.
Several of the listings, ie ‘Recent’, seem extremely busy visually.
